1. Swifts in different times the eventually fly

They compete just like any other animal does for food for survival but the most they often compete with there prey insects so they can have food for them and their familys.

To kill a mocking bird

Harper Lee uses the clock tower in her description of the May-comb County courthouse to symbolize and show the fact that May-comb is stuck in its past and unable to move forward towards racial and stereotypes to even slavery.

As well linking to this another quote comes in “The May comb County courthouse was faintly reminiscent of Arlington in one respect: the concrete pillars supporting its south roof were too heavy for their light burden.

I was thinking that the south roof meant the southern side of the US, and the southerners wanted to keep their old views about African Americans.

Anti-Hero

I have chosen HarryPotter the book as well as the film but not Harry himself, I have chosen Snape.                                          Even now, months after seeing the movie, I still get choked up when I think about Snape and his doe patronus(Spell)

The real question at the heart of Harry Potter is, Can love win? And it’s answered in Snape, the second cruelest person in the world next to Voldemort, who is somehow transformed by love.

Snape, like all Anti-Heroes represents what society detests as in hate cruelty, cowardice, self-interest, and dishonesty. He is the opposite of the hero, a villain, and yet somehow he’s a villain on the good guys side.  There are many anti heros in the book and film but this guy ‘Snape’ caught my eye as some people will go for Harry and others.

Ps I had to do this again as my previouse one did not save

Anti-Hero

Scrooge got visited by three ghost the ghost of Christmas past, present and future to put a stop to his cruel and hate towards Christmas and people in general, he wasn’t transformed into a good person at the start but soon came to realise that in actual fact he is a monster, the ghost a Christmas present and future made him change.

he always never ever used to give to the poor and never gave a big smile to no one other but himself but now he is giving love to those who need it brings food to homeless yes this is a big change but he was starting to change lives making them happy putting on a big smile giving spare change to anyone who needed it.

I personally think Scrooge is an anti hero as he made out as a really bad person but soon came to realisation that he shouldn’t be acting how he is, now he gives change to the poor and sick makes them feel well and mostly Hero’s go around saving people from the start and protecting them Scrooge how ever didn’t when  he became good no one used the term hero or he was a hero at the end he was just a changed man that actually was helping and saving people.

This is why I think Scrooge is an anti-hero

This is Your Online Domain

Hello and welcome to your personal online journal.

Edutronic has been created to enhance and enrich your learning at the London Nautical School. Its purpose is to provide you with an audience for your work (or work-in-progress) and you have the choice (by altering the ‘visibility’ of your posts) of whether your work on here is visible to the world, or only to your teacher.

Anything you post here in the public domain represents you and thus it’s important that you take care with that decision, but don’t be afraid to publish your work – as the feedback you may get from people at home, your peers and people from around the internet is only likely to enhance it.

Remember you can always access your class blog and all manner of resources through the Edutronic main website – and by all means check out the sites of your peers to see what they’re getting up to as well.

If you have any questions for your teacher, an excellent way to get an answer is to create a new private post on this journal. Your teachers are am notified of any new posts and will reply swiftly to any queries.

Make the most of, and enjoy this new freedom in your English learning!
