I Can Tell You Now

I CAN TELL YOU NOW

This is an attention getting-statement of what i think about video games and how it ‘apparently’ causes violence.

The majority of adults disagree on young people playing violent shooter games, why? I do not know maybe is how the media portrays the few young people who’ve had possession of a firearm and has gone to their local or old elementary school and has killed students and teachers. The media always has to include video games to the shooter as if they are connected but if we look more into depth with past few killings the shooter normally had a bad upbringing or has family or other problems that has affected them. MADISON TOWNSHIP —A 14-year-old student charged in a shooting at a Butler County Jr/Sr high school that left four students injured was in court Tuesday.’ I read through this article in depth and found out that the shooter’s parents did not like him at all and always neglected him from a young age, this might not be the exact cause or trigger that set him off to do such horrifying action but it is a better cause or motive than him playing 18R rated games. There have been numerous occasions and as i’ve said they have all had problems to cause them to do that, it’s not video games.

I can speak for all gamers when i say video games do not influence violence as i have been playing violent video games all my life and not once did i feel the need to hurt or kill anyone and if i would’ve i think it’ll be because of something or a cause not a because i played a violent video game and felt the need to go and hurt someone or kill.  ‘Survey: 75% Of Parents Think Violent Video Games Contribute To Actual Violence‘ Adult’s may complain about kids being violent but if that is the case then they are in the wrong as they have contributed to that by buying them the game, as you cannot purchase a game whilst being under 18 if the game is ‘R RATED’ and all the violent video games are r rated. I researched and found an adult that before did play a lot of violent video games and turned out fine like the majority of people, here is what he has to say.

“I played violent games as a kid and turned out fine”

I did too, and I think that (almost) everyone here has. The problem isn’t that, it’s that parents will blame violent video games for violent tendencies, but at the same time are still buying their children the games they’re crucifying and their opinions are considered valid by a majority of their peers.

What i know is that the accusations are false, and that they should bring facts not theories of what they think because without hard evidence you cannot prove anything and it’s only a group that think that violent games causes violence but if we bring everyone, 95% of the population does NOT believe that violent games causes violence.
